On May 20, 2017, the Whiskey Library DC, in partnership with District Made Spirits, barreled a whiskey distilled from 72% Hickory King Corn, 18% Rye, and 10% Malted Barley.

We originally planned for this bourbon to be bottled-in-bond, but after five years in the barrel, we felt that it was too good to water down, and so we left it at barrel-proof. Sometimes you just have to listen to the whiskey and go with your gut, even if it wasn’t the original plan.

We couldn’t be more excited to share this single-barrel, barrel-proof bourbon - made right here in Washington, DC -with you.
