On the nose, spiced pear with vanilla-chocolate wafer, cinnamon sticks, and subtle oak spice. On the palate, ripe pear with peach candy, and chocolate-toffee sauce lead the way with oak spice percolating underneath. The finish is round and lovely, with sweeter elements outlasting a soft burst of spice initially. Dangerously drinkable, chewy, and wonderfully layered.
