First matured in refill American Oak & European Oak casks and finished in Montilla Fino-seasoned re-charred American Oak casks with heavily re-charred new AO ends, our 86 proof whisky has a salty sea scent with smoke and spice. On the palate is grape, sea salt and white-pepper spiciness, with a sweet-smoky and dry finish. The importers and entrepreneurs who founded the Oban distillery would have approved of the Spanish influence behind this edition's second maturation. The best of the Highlands and coastal influences, centuries of local distilling tradition are what make our award-winning whisky so exquisite.
