This exceptional release is a blend of five-to-seven-year barrels from the distillery’s Owensboro tile warehouses, which offer the ideal environment for aging with both warm and cool temperatures. Maintaining the same mash bill as Green River Kentucky Straight Bourbon, it features 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley. The high rye content provides a robust spice, balanced by the sweetness of corn and barley. On the nose, expect cinnamon, dried cherry, and light leather, followed by a palate of warming spice, vanilla, caramel, and chocolate-coated peppermints.
