Hardin's Creek 211 -- [My Notes 🥃🥃]

n the grand pantheon of spirits, Hardin's Creek 211 stands like a seasoned raconteur, boasting an impressive 17.5-year tenure in the charred sanctum of oak barrels. The result? A dark and alluring visage, with an oily sheen that clings to your glass with the tenacity of a captivating rumor.

Nose first into the glass, and you're greeted with a medley of citrus and home-baked delights, all playing hide and seek with a backdrop of faint oak — the ethanol so bashful, it's nearly absent.

The palate unfolds like an evening drama — a bold oak narrative, a fiery spice that warms like a well-timed jest, and a drizzle of honey and caramel sweetness, culminating in a beautifully complex and elegant denouement that harks back to the classic Old Tub heritage.

Buy? Affirmative. Though the secondary market might have you raising an eyebrow at its impishness, it's a small price for such bottled bonhomie.
A toast, friends, to the sipping storybook that is Hardin's Creek — may your glasses be as full of character as the bourbon they cradle.
