The majestic stag, ‘monarch of the glen’ and perhaps the most iconic of all Scottish stravaigers. Roaming the magnificent splendor of the Scottish Highlands without limits in search of little more than tranquility, sustenance, and occasional good company.
’Stravaig’, meaning to ‘roam’ or ‘wander’, like many Scots Gaelic words perfectly capture a feeling or quiet desire that is often hard to describe. Like the inherent pleasure of being able to savor the journey as much as the destination.
This blended 12-year-old Scottish starts with notes of sweet honey, vanilla and baking spices, with a respectfully pleasing peaty finish.
