The Most-Hunted Bottles in America: Fall 2026 Index
Every bourbon forum argues about which bottles people are really chasing. We don't have to guess — Main Street Liquor® lists new releases the moment labels clear federal approval, and hunters vote with their orders. This is the first edition of our quarterly index: the bottles customers actually hunted over the last 90 days (June 13 – September 11, 2026), ranked by real bottles sold at our store, with search-demand signals from Google alongside.

Five Things the Data Says
- Collabs beat classics at the top. Four of our five best-selling bottles were celebrity or limited collaborations — the Cheech & Chong release alone moved 797 bottles, outselling Eagle Rare 10.
- Buffalo Trace Distillery is still the center of gravity. Across Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace, E.H. Taylor, the Weller line, and Blanton's, customers took home roughly 1,475 bottles from one distillery's portfolio in 90 days.
- Blanton's is four hunts in one: Original (152), Takara Red (61), and Gold in both sizes (111 combined) — 324 bottles across the family.
- America-250 collecting is a genuine category. Between the America First line, anniversary editions, and commemorative etched bottles, semiquincentennial releases accounted for three of our top eight sellers.
- Search demand points at the next wave: on the search side of our data, Louis XIII price checks (~30,000 impressions), Hennessy's Henny Rita (~36,000), and Don Julio (~24,000) led all non-brand queries reaching our listings last quarter.
Surprise of the Quarter
Sarti Rosa Aperitivo — 95 bottles with zero allocation hype. The pink-spritz wave is reaching liquor-store shelves.
Methodology
Rankings are by net bottles sold at Main Street Liquor® (online and in-store) from June 13 through September 11, 2026, from our order system, excluding services and accessories. Search-demand figures are Google Search Console impressions for queries reaching mainstreetliquor.com over the same period. This is one retailer's window on the market — a large one for allocated and first-to-market bottles, but a window nonetheless.
