Our Special Finishes Collection continues to expand with the addition of Rum Cask, a unique offering that showcases a different perspective on our classic bourbon profile. After a nine-week finishing process in rum cask barrels sourced from Havana, Cuba, our 4-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey takes on new dimensions of flavor. The influence of the rum casks introduces notes of spice and tropical sweetness, creating a distinctive and memorable drinking experience.
In this expression, expect to encounter aromas of gingerbread, poached pear, and fresh-cut hay on the nose. The palate is treated to flavors of toasted marshmallow, crème brûlée, toffee, and toasted oak, providing a rich and indulgent taste sensation. The finish lingers with hints of tobacco, clove, and cocoa-seasoned oak, culminating in a long honeyed finish that leaves a lasting impression.
Rum Cask joins the Yellowstone family with its own unique character and flavor profile, adding an exciting new dimension to our collection of special finishes.
